2012 Project Mast Relection

Two memorable moments that I have had during my Project Mast summer workshop are creating a cloud in a bottle  with instructors Roberts/Williams and Force, Motion and Energy with Hunt/Dickinson.   From each activity I gained a better understanding of the objective and different ways to grab (grabbers) to get the students attention.  I think overall each activity was successful but I would have allowed the students more time for exploration. 

Introduction

I am Mary B Whitehead. I am currently a 2nd Grade teacher at East Kemper Elementary in Scooba,Mississippi. I am the mother of three David 13, Sheletha 9 and Erik is 9 months.  I have a B.S. and and Med.in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama in Livingston, Alabama. I am currently working on my Education Specialist in Elementary Education. I severed in the United State Army for 4 years.  I have been teaching for 4 years and I enjoy what I do.  I feel that education is the gateway to success.
